Satellite reception

Kabelio access module
The Kabelio access module is plugged into the CI+ slot of the TV device or satellite receiver.
The programme offer from Kabelio is broadcast in an access-protected manner via the Hotbird satellite at 13° East. This satellite is also used by SRG for the satellite broadcasting of the SRG channels. If the SRG channels are already received via satellite, you are Kabelio-ready as far as signal reception is concerned!

To receive Kabelio, you need a Kabelio access module.
The Kabelio access module is compatible with CI+ devices and includes 3 months free access to Kabelio channels.
You can order the Kabelio access module online or buy it in-store from selected specialist retailers.

Prices for the extension
Once your free access has expired, you can easily extend your Kabelio access online without being tied into a contract. You can choose whether you want to extend for 3, 6 or 12 months.
Would you like to operate Kabelio on two end devices? No problem. To do this, both end devices must be equipped with a Kabelio access module. With the “Kabelio twin access” you can then extend Kabelio for two devices at favorable conditions.

Do you already receive the SRG channels via satellite?
The Sat Access card and the associated Viaccess-Orca CA module are not suitable for Kabelio. Replace the Viaccess-Orca module with a Kabelio access module. You will then receive the SRG channels and all other programmes with the Kabelio access module. You no longer require the Sat-Access card for Kabelio.
